This five-door hatchback provides quick acceleration, lively handling, and impressive range. And with a starting price of $29,280, it’s one of the most affordable electric cars on the market.

Let’s take a closer look at everything the new Nissan LEAF has to offer and why we recommend it as an entry-level electric vehicle!

User-Friendly Features & Technology

The new Nissan LEAF EV is full of modern features, including plenty of tech. NissanConnect®, allows you to instantly sync compatible devices with your LEAF and control it all with the 8-inch touchscreen display. You’ll have all your apps right at the tip of your fingers. Apple CarPlay integration is standard, complete with Siri® voice control. Apple Watch support and Android Auto are also available, adding extra layers of convenience to your LEAF.

The customizable digital display allows you to keep all the information you need right where you want it. Customize your view to display everything from navigation to range to power usage on the full-color screen. You’ll also be able to keep an eye on your surroundings with the Intelligent Around View mirror, which provides a 360º bird’s eye view of the area around your vehicle.

Stay comfortable no matter the weather with Automatic Temperature Control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Interior Comfort and Convenience

The LEAF provides seating for up to five and 23.6 cubic feet of trunk space. For larger items, fold the 60/40 rear split seats. The upholstery is bio-PET, a sustainable material made out of renewable resources like plants.

Nissan Safety Shield® 360 comes standard on the LEAF. This suite of six safety and driver assist features helps keep you safe on every drive. These features include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Lane Departure Warning.

Efficient Performance: Balancing Power and Range

One of the biggest questions drivers have about electric cars is the range. How far can the 2025 LEAF go on a single charge? Most LEAF models have 149-215 miles of range, but the LEAF SV Plus model gets a whopping 342 miles per charge. For even more range, use Eco Mode. This mode converts braking energy into a charge for your battery. Lastly, the LEAF is fast charging, achieving an 80% charge in just 40 minutes.

The LEAF accelerates quickly and smoothly thanks to the 100% electric drivetrain. It’s equipped with an ePedal, which allows you to drive with just one pedal. Simply press down to accelerate and ease off to slow down through regenerative braking. Of course, you’ll still have your brake pedal so you can stop or slow on demand.

It features a floor-mounted battery pack that creates a low center of gravity for a great ride and smooth handling around even the tightest corners.

Nissan has a reputation for producing dependable, innovative cars that require less maintenance than comparable vehicles from other brands. In fact, Nissan has a reliability rating of 4/5 on Repairpal.com, coming in ninth out of 32 manufacturers.

In addition to reliability, Nissans are designed with safety in mind. Each new Nissan is equipped with Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of safety features that includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, high beam assist, advanced airbags, and ProPILOT Assist.

With all of this in mind, let’s explore what makes a Nissan ideal for busy lifestyles and highlight some of the most popular Nissan family cars.

Interiors Designed for Busy Families

When you’re looking for a Nissan family vehicle, you’ll probably pay the most attention to the interior. The Nissan lineup has three-row SUVs with room for up to eight people like the Pathfinder and Armada, as well as two-row SUVs with space for five passengers like the Murano and Rogue. Plenty of cargo space is a given on any of these models, making them ideal for families that frequently carry sports equipment, camping gear, or large grocery hauls.

Don’t need quite that much room? Sedans like the Altima and Maxima provide seating for up to five while still providing a roomy trunk.

Let’s take a closer look at some of these models:

The Nissan Pathfinder: This eight-seater SUV is the full package: power, luxury, and top safety ratings from IIHS and NHTSA. The interior features upscale materials, an available 9” touchscreen, and an available 12.3” digital dashboard. It delivers 284 horsepower and up to 6,000 pounds of towing capacity to handle all of your adventures.

The Nissan Murano: This five-seater SUV is equipped with advanced safety features (it was also an IIHS and NHTSA top safety pick), all-wheel drive, and a luxurious interior. There’s ample room for your passengers and any cargo, making it perfect for road trips, school carpools, or everyday errands.

The Nissan Altima: If you’re looking for a sedan that’s anything but boring, the Altima is for you. This sporty four-door, five-passenger sedan has the most tech-advanced engine in its class, providing up to 248 horsepower and 27 MPG city and 39 MPG highway. With a premium look and feel, zero-gravity front seats, and a host of high-tech features, you’ll love this Nissan car.

Technology Features For Busy Families

Nissan has always had an eye toward the future and the tech features found in 2024 models are proof. No matter which new Nissan you choose, you’ll enjoy Nissan Safety Shield 360 and ProPILOT Assist, a suite of driver assistance features.

While Nissan's safety features are top-tier, their tech features can’t be overlooked. Here is some of the high-tech equipment you’ll find in new Nissan models:

Preparing Your Nissan for Summer: Essential Maintenance Tips

Warm weather is upon us and maybe summer road trips are in your future! Even if you’re staying put this summer, now is a great time to perform some basic maintenance on your Nissan.

Here are the most important Nissan car maintenance tips, straight from the experts at one of the top Nissan dealerships in Orangeburg, SC!

Mechanic,Changing,Wheel,,Replacement,Of,Winter,And,Summer,Tires,Of

Inspecting and Maintaining Your Nissan Fluids

When it comes to Nissan maintenance, maintaining the fluids in your vehicle is one of the most basic and essential tasks. Ensuring your oil, brake fluid, and more are clean and at the appropriate levels will help keep your vehicle running smoothly.

Here is more information about how to effectively check and maintain your vehicle’s fluids.

Regular Oil Changes - One of the most critical maintenance tasks for any vehicle is regular oil changes. Changing the oil at regular intervals keeps your engine well-lubricated, which reduces friction and protects the engine from excessive heat. Nissan recommends oil changes every 5,000 - 7,000 miles or every 6 months for most vehicles in its lineup. Your owner’s manual has oil change recommendations specific to your vehicle.

Brake Fluid - At least once a year, check your brake fluid levels to maintain optimal performance. If the fluid is low or dirty, it’s probably time to change it.

Transmission Fluid - Extend the life of your transmission and ensure overall performance by regularly checking and replacing your transmission fluid. Check your owner’s manual for the recommended interval for your specific model.

Coolant - Maintaining coolant levels helps prevent your engine from overheating, so it’s important to keep an eye on it, especially during hot weather. In addition, your owner’s manual will provide recommended intervals for flushing your coolant.

Power Steering Fluid - The right level of power steering fluid ensures effortless steering and can prevent possible damage to your power steering system. Check the power steering fluid around four times a year–an easy way to remember is checking as the seasons change–and top it off if necessary.

Nissan Tire Care and Safety

Your tires are in constant contact with the road and it pays to take care of them. Luckily, tire maintenance doesn’t require much mechanical know-how.

Tire Inspections - Every few months, inspect your tires to make sure they’re in proper working condition. Check for uneven tire wear and foreign objects like nails and screws. Being proactive will help you prevent tire emergencies.

Watch The Weight - Carrying heavy items long-term can cause more wear and tear on your tires. They’re also more susceptible to overheating, excessive wear, and general tire failure. Avoid carrying large, heavy items in your vehicle for prolonged periods, if possible.

Drive Carefully - Aggressive driving, hard braking, and high speeds can wear your tires down quicker than more careful driving.

Maintain Proper Tire Pressure - It’s not unusual for tire pressure to fluctuate with the temperature, but be aware of under or over-inflated tires. Both are dangerous, severely impact your fuel efficiency, and lead to uneven tire wear. Check your Nissn owner’s manual to ensure your tires are filled to the manufacturer’s recommended levels.

Tire Rotations - Nissan tire rotations help prevent uneven wear on your tire tread and help you get the most life out of your tires. Having your tires rotated when you get an oil change is a great way to ensure you’re getting it done regularly.

Important Nissan Battery Maintenance

Without a working battery, your car won’t be going anywhere. Your Nissan’s battery needs to be serviced and replaced every three to five years. While battery replacement is inevitable, there are some ways to extend its life.

Avoid Parking in Extreme Temperatures - Heat and cold put strain on your battery, so if possible, park in a garage or covered area, especially in the summer.

Keep Your Battery Clean - When dirt and grime accumulate on your battery, it can be harder for the cables and connectors to make a solid connection. By keeping it clean, you can be sure the connection is always a good one.

Pay Attention to Warning Signs - Dim headlights, lack of dome light, and a slow engine crank are all signs that your Nissan’s battery is failing. We recommend bringing it in as soon as possible to avoid being stranded somewhere with a dead battery.

Summer Road Trip Essentials: Packing Tips for Your Nissan Adventure

As the temperatures rise and the days get longer, you might be itching for a road trip. Whether you’re heading to the beach, the mountains, or just hitting the highway, there’s nothing like doing it in your Nissan!

To make your trip the best yet, we’ve put together some of our top tips on packing up your vehicle for a good time.

2022 Nissan Pathfinder

Planning Your Nissan Adventure

You might think you’re ready to get going, it’s a good idea to stop and do a little planning before hopping in the car. Here are a few tips to ensure road trip success:

  • Check Your Tires. A flat tire is never convenient, but when you’re on a road trip, it can really wreck your plans. Before traveling, check your tires to make sure they’re in good shape and replace any with low tread. Low tread–anything under 2/32”–is unsafe to drive with and puts you at risk for a blowout.
  • Check and Top Off Fluids As Needed. Pop the hood and take a look at your oil, transmission fluid, windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and antifreeze. You may even decide to get an oil change, where a professional can check and refill these fluids as necessary.
  • Get an Oil Change. Speaking of an oil change, if you’re due for one, you’ll definitely want to get one before taking off!
  • Change Your Windshield Wiper Blades. New wiper blades make a huge difference in your visibility on the road. If your current windshield wiper blades are more than a year old, it’s a good idea to replace them.
  • Brake Check. Properly working brakes are one of the keys to a safe vehicle. If it has been a while since your brakes were last inspected, let a professional take a look at them and make repairs before heading out on your road trip.

Comfort, Convenience, and Organizational Hacks

Now that your car is road trip-ready, it’s time to pack up! We recommend cleaning the inside of your vehicle so you’re starting with a clean slate. In addition to your luggage, here are some must-have items for any road trip:

  • Vehicle registration and insurance cards
  • Car chargers
  • Paper towels
  • Jumper cables
  • Small tool kit with wrench, pliers, WD-40, screwdriver, etc.
  • Spare tire (make sure it’s still in good shape!)
  • Flashlight
  • Spare car key
  • First aid kit
  • Weather-related items
  • Bottled water and snacks

One of the things that make Nissans so great for road-tripping is NissanConnect®, a technology suite with cutting-edge infotainment, communication, and navigation features. You’ll get turn-by-turn directions, view detailed traffic information, find the best restaurants and shops with the Places Directory, and more. If you’re in an EV model, you can even use the trip planner feature to find routes with charging stations.

The Best Nissan Road Trip Vehicles

If you’re not a Nissan driver yet, you might be wondering which model is best for road trips. Here are our top four suggestions:

  1. Nissan Pathfinder. This midsize crossover is designed for comfort and boasts room for eight. The leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, and adjustable seating ensure you and your passengers enjoy every ride. You’ll also have 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. Need more room? The second and third rows fold down. When it comes to fuel economy, the Pathfinder gets approximately 25 MPG highway, which is impressive for a vehicle its size!
  2. Nissan Rogue. The Rogue is the best-selling SUV in the US, so it’s been on a road trip or two. It’s smaller than the Pathfinder, but still seats 5 and provides just over 36 cubic feet of cargo room. You’ll get 35 MPG highway, so gas station stops will be few and far between.
  3. Nissan Armada. If you’re looking for a full-size SUV, the Armada is the perfect choice. It boasts seating for up to eight, 16.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, and a host of comfort features. If you’re towing a camper or boat, the V8 engine and FWD capacity deliver up to 8,500 pounds of towing capacity. You can expect to get around 16 MPG highway.
  4. Nissan Leaf. The Leaf may be a compact car, but it seats up to five and provides 23.6 cubic feet of cargo space. But the real road trip appeal is in the range. You’ll get up to 215 miles per charge.

Nissan Versa's Engine Performance and Fuel Efficiency

The 2024 Nissan Vera may be compact, but it packs a powerful little punch. It’s equipped with a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine that delivers up to 122 horsepower and up to 114 lb.-ft. of torque. An Xtronic CVT automatic transmission is standard on SV and SR models, while the S model is available with either an automatic or five-speed manual transmission.

You’ll save at the pump with the Vera, as it gets an EPA-estimated 32 MPG city and 40 MPG highway (when equipped with the automatic Xtronic transmission). The Versa has incredible handling thanks to responsive steering and supple suspension.

Available Intelligent Cruise Control makes your commute easier than ever by monitoring the flow of traffic and maintaining an appropriate speed. The backup camera and rear sonar system make backing up easier and safer than ever.

Design and Comfort

Comfort is taken to new heights in the Versa. The front seats are equipped with zero gravity technology, including 14 strategically-placed pressure points to reduce stress on your body and minimize fatigue. You’ll also enjoy 44.5 inches of legroom in the front and 31 inches of legroom in the rear seats. Road trips just got a whole lot better!

On those hot or cold days, use the Remote Engine Start System and available Intelligent Climate Control to start your car and make sure it's just the right temperature before you get in and go.

Safety Features and Tech

Stay connected and keep everything right at your fingertips with the 8” touchscreen display with NissanConnect, smartphone connectivity, and voice commands. Wireless charging makes sure your phone’s battery is always full, while the innovative Nissan virtual key allows you to unlock your Vera with an app.

You’ll get peace of mind from Nissan Safety Shield® 360. This suite of standard driver-assistance features includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and more.

Growing with Your Family: The Adaptive Features of the 2024 Nissan Rogue

When you’re looking for a reliable vehicle that gets good gas mileage and has cutting-edge safety features, don’t overlook Nissan! Nissan vehicles are known for their longevity, safety, and ample cargo and passenger space, making them a popular choice for families all over the world. The 2024 Rogue is one of the most family-friendly vehicles in the Nissan lineup.

Read on to learn more about the new Rogue model and discover why it’s the perfect choice for families!

Spacious Interior Design

With seating for up to five, along with available semi-aniline leather-appointed seats, Tri-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, and generous legroom, you and your passengers will ride in comfort and style. In fact, Car and Driver claimed the new Rogue has some of the most comfortable seats they’ve ever tested!

Pack up your luggage or the kids’ sports equipment in the Rogue’s 36/5 cubic feet of cargo space. Need more room? Opt for the available folding rear seats or Divide-N-Hide® cargo system, which gives you unmatched flexibility with six storage configurations. Load everything up with ease thanks to the motion-activated liftgate–just kick your foot under the rear bumper and it opens right up.

And the new Nissan Rogue makes it easy to secure LATCH-compatible car seats in any rear seating position.

Connectivity and Entertainment

The 2024 Rogue is full of features to keep the entire family connected and entertained on every drive.

The lower two trims of the 2024 Rogue–the S and SV–are equipped with an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. When you upgrade to the SL and Platinum, you’ll enjoy a 12.3-inch touch display with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store built-in. The SL and Premium also add wireless smartphone mirroring and a completely digital instrument cluster.

The 12.3-inch touchscreen display is available on the S and SV trims, as well as Heads-Up Display (HUD) that syncs with compatible devices to keep you in the know. Other available features include wireless charging, Apple CarPlay integration, Android Auto compatibility, and in-vehicle data and Wi-Fi.

Music lovers will appreciate the available Bose Premium Audio System–based on a proprietary design and an acoustical analysis of the cabin. With 10 speakers, your favorite tunes have never sounded so good.

Advanced Safety Technologies

Part of what makes the Nissan Rogue perfect for families is the safety features. Nissan’s Safety Shield® 360–a suite of technologies to make every drive safer–comes standard. This includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, high beam assist, blind spot warning, and so much more.

The ProPILOT Assist 1.1 system is also available. This can help you when you’re caught in stop-and-go traffic by helping keep you centered in your lane. It can even automatically adjust its set speed if it detects a speed limit sign.

With four available cameras, you’ll get a virtual composite 360° view from above. Choose to view split-screen close-ups of the front, rear, and curbside to help make parking easier than ever.

The Nissan Z is a staple in the sports car world, and the 2024 model doesn’t disappoint. The Z saw a redesign in 2023, but now in 2024, Nissan delivers many exciting updates and even better performance to the already popular seventh generation Z.

The Nissan Z sports car’s biggest update is the all-new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo high-performance trim, but you’ll see other impressive changes when exploring all the trims Nissan has to offer.

Read on to learn more about the latest Nissan sports car, then stop by Nissan of Orangeburg, your trusted Nissan dealer in Orangeburg, SC.

Cutting-Edge Design Features

The all-new Nissan Z starts at $42, 210, coming in a variety of eye-catching colors, including:

Not only are the colors eye-catching, but the stance is equally as likely to turn heads on the road. The 2024 Nissan Z shows off the original 240Z stance, including its logo, iconic hood bulge, giving it the space for its powerful engine, its round headlights, and its wide, geometric grille designed to keep the engine cool.

The 2024 Nissan Z’s taillights are a nod to the 1999 300ZX with their double-layered 3D design. The LED lights add a brilliant modern touch to the latest model. The Z’s aerodynamic design helps the sports car seamlessly slice through the air when zooming down the road. You’ll notice flush-mounted door handles, front chin spoiler, and available front- and rear-lift aerodynamic aids. Get behind the wheel of the all-new Nissan Z and enhance your ride.

Interior innovations for a driver-centric experience

The impressive upgrades on the 2024 Z doesn’t stop on the outside. On the inside, you’ll find a driver-oriented cockpit that is designed purely for the joy of driving. With your choice of stylish interior material and color options, you’ll be able to make your Z your very own.

For 2024, Nissan features a performance seat design for Z drivers, providing lateral support and an available anti-slip material with a slide-reducing center pad so you can handle your Z with confidence. In the spirit of feeling confident inside your Z, enjoy racer-designed gauges located on the 12.3-inch sport screen angled toward the driver so you can catch key information at a glance.

All of your information appears on the NissanConnect® 9-inch color touchscreen display. Take it up a notch with wireless connectivity, available Wi-Fi hotspot, and available Bose Premium Audio System.

Inside the 2024 Z, you’re never short of control. This year’s model comes with a triple pod cluster, delivering information at your fingertips, including turbo boost, turbine speed, and voltage. On the top of the dash, you’ll have easy access to your three gauges, with air vents, audio, and ventilation control within reach.

In addition, you’ll enjoy handling the GT-R-inspired steering wheel and sleek, leather manual shifter. Hit the road for the long run and pack everything you need thanks to the Z’s spacious cargo area and smart storage with USB ports for all your electronic needs.

Engine Specifications and Performance Capabilities

The newest Z model comes with the option of a six-speed manual transmission or nine-speed automatic, both with a 3.0-liter twin turbo V6, six-speed manual transmission puts out 400 horsepower with 350 lb-ft of torque.

The manual transmissions come in sport or performance mode, while the nine-speed transmission comes in sport, performance, and NISMO modes. No matter the choice you make, you’ll find nothing but power on the road.

Not only will you experience power when moving down the road in a 2024 Nissan Z, you’ll also get excellent braking performance. The all-new Z comes with available four-piston front calipers with 14-inch rotors and two-piston rear calipers with 13.8-inch rotors.
